Attention, Corazoners! The Corazon is hosting a one-time only screening of Joan Jett's documentary, Bad Reputation. The movie will be showing on Wednesday, September 26, at 8:30 p.m. with regular admission prices (Regular admission $9, Students, Seniors and Military $7, Matinee $6). The documentary is takes the audience on a journey through Joan Jett's life and career, from her early years as founder of "The Runaways" and first collaborations with Kenny Laguna to her status as rock icon. The screening will feature exclusive footage that can only be seen in theaters. The screening of Bad Reputation will be a national event! Theaters across the country will be showing Joan Jett's documentary on the same night, so come out to the Corazon Cinema & Cafe and join the people in learning about the life of a true rock star.

Welcome to the Corazon Cinema & Cafe's blog! My name is Kyra Shportun, I have been working for the Corazon for almost a year and a half now and I will be the one writing these weekly blog posts. The Corazon Cinema & Cafe will be having our four year anniversary this September, so if you come see a movie starting the September 26th to September 30th, our tickets are buy one get one free so make sure you bring a friend! For all the newcomers of the Corazon, here are a few fun facts about our theater: - The Corazon was opened almost four years ago by Karla Wagner, an Orlando native who had a vision of opening a dine-in theater in the nation's oldest city. -We are open Wednesday through Sunday from 11:30 until the end of the last showing/event of the day. (You can find our times under our website's showtime tab) -The Corazon shows a wide variety of films. We have shown documentaries, independent films, foreign films, throwbacks and first run movies! We try to cater to everyone with our array of films. -If you're not in the mood for a movie, we often have events going on that can be fun for the whole family. Some of our popular activities are trivia (every Wednesday), comedy (featuring local and traveling comedians), poetry, live performances, improv, afternoon teas, award show parties and much more! -While you're taking in a movie, you can enjoy our full menu of sandwiches, salads, wraps, french bread pizzas, burgers, ricebowls, and homemade sides. The Corazon also has a small selection of vegetarian options. -To relax even further, grab a glass from our wine list or try or wine of the month. We also offer bottled beers, champagne, mimosas and sangria! We hope you have an awesome time at the Corazon Cinema & Cafe.
